Brodi (Travis Turner) is hired to look after Marley during the summer. He has always wanted a dog of his own, but his mum believes he’s too irresponsible for such duties. After an encounter with a pug breeder, Brodi enters Marley in a neighbourhood puppy contest. However, Marley’s magnetism towards mayhem may prove to be too much to handle...

Straight to DVD cringer
My wife wanted to see this. It's very much aimed at young children and is only vaguely related to the first film. In this one, the animals all talk. The whole tone of the film is like Lazy Town, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers or similar kid's show with goofy bad guys and "pie in the face" type jokes.
