This 10 episode season follows the trials and tribulations of Lord Eddard 'Ned' Stark (Bean), the dignified leader of a modest town, asked to take his late mentor’s place as the King’s Hand. Meanwhile, an apathetic tyrant, Viserys Targaryen (Harry Lloyd), hatches his own plans for acquiring the throne, preparing to sacrifice his own family’s well-being to do so.
Based on George R.R. Martin’s best-selling series A Song of Fire and Ice.
